Spider showcase at Planet Hollywood!

SPIDER, one of the top local bands currently performed the 1st of their 2 nights showcase at the ever-packed Planet Hollywood, downtown KL.
Had the opportunity to catch the performance (thanks to Bridget!) with some friends, Nija AF, Suzie, Andi & Yati.

The official launch of Linda Jasmine Performing Arts Studio !

July 3rd 2005, the official launch of Linda Jasmine Performing Arts Studio, located at 23 C, Wisma Ampang Triangle 2 (besides Ampang Point)
A great occasion to officially launch this studio that has been the life-long dream of Linda, this party was well attended by friends, families, supporters, studio students and the media. This was also a unique moment where Akademi Fantasia is concerned : AF luminaries from the 1st & 2nd season together in the same room with the new batch of young stars from the 3rd season. Seen at this party were the likes of Atie, Nija, Khai, Rosma, Azizi, Adi, Vince, Anding, Bob, Fitri, Reza, Fuad, Elliza, Amy, Azlif & Haider (Idayu can't make it as she had to go back to Kelantan).
All in, a great purple-laden party indeed filled with great music & dance !

Some pics of the young starlets of the Akademi Fantasia reality show (now into its 3rd season). Idayu, Fuad & Elliza of coz' were the 1st three to be voted out. Azlif did not make the final cut even.

Miss Malaysia Sri Lanka Pageant 2005

We are blessed people. Living in this country, it is great to know that we are made up of various communities. Tonite, I had the pleasure to be among one of them, the Malaysian Ceylonese in the Miss M'sia Sri Lanka Pageant 2005 in Subang Sheraton.
Fact : There are more than 100 K Malaysian Ceylonese and most of them are professionals in this country. Not that it mattered who's Msian Ceylonese, who's not, but the fact is their contribution as Malaysians are as important as any other races' in this nation of ours.
So, check out some of the pics taken with my astro colleagues who were lucky to get a table that nite.
And the winner is a real beauty ...

I was part of the Maestro/Akademi Fantasia Fc team that went to Kota Bharu last weekend for a friendly match against Era Radio FC.
The trip was a memorable one, and capped off very well indeed with a good 2-1 win against the Era boys. An own goal & a superb bicycle kick from Yassin sealed our win against Era FC.

Force Of Nature Concert!!

About 13,000 crowd were there at Putra Stadium to witness a 6 hours plus performances by the likes of Sheila Majid, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef, Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, Ruth Sahanaya, Black Eyed Peas, Jackie Chan etc..
All in all, a great nite with the stars!
